kind of related, i have a bit of a problem with vodafone at the minute.

I have 6 months left on my contract until i can upgrade, but my phone at the moment is bordering on unusable, constantly crashing, constantly restarting, batterly lasts about 3 hours after a full charge. They will obviously offer me a repair, but these are faults with the phone, having looked online it seems they are extremely common problems and happen to every handset. What are my chances of hard talking them into an early upgrade? i despise this phone and it is completely unfit for use, i do not want another one.

Having the same problem with o2 and upgrade not due till Feb, are they likely to upgrade early ?
