Maybe he's just a better player than the average football fan gives him credit for? Either that or he's signed a contract that means he can play whenever or wherever if he's available, which no professional football club would ever sign due to the consequences it would have on the rest of the squad and the player's motivation and attitude.
Believe what you like, but this rumour is still and has always been total total bollocks. I find it strange that Virgo seems to fit into the team wherever, but it's certainly not contractual, and I guess that's why Slade is being paid to manage Albion instead of us!
