Brighton :Goalkeeping crisis..Adam Virgo 18.49

<<<<<<,The Seagulls may be forced to play an outfield player in goal for tomorrows game against high flying Leicester City at The Withdean Stadium. Regular goalkeeper Michel Kuipers is struggling with injury and Brighton manager Mickey Adams today confessed that reserve keeper James Sullivan is also unfit.
''If we go with an outfield player then it will almost certainly be Adam Virgo'' the Albion chief said.
''He has played in a variety of positions for us this season and done well, though this is a little different''
Adam Virgo who came through the Brighton youth set up re-joined the club this year after a 3 year absence after leaving to sign for Scottish giants Celtic for a 1.5 million fee.
Adams went on to say that hopefully that is the only change from the team that lost 1-0 to Hartlepool on saturday though once again Thornton will be warming his arse on the bench.

How ironic if Sullivan started tommorow, was injured and Virgo played the game in goal

Who's James Sullivan? 0/10 btw

'Big' Jim Sullivan was a member of Marty Wilde's band in the late 1950's. He then formed his own 'Combo', issuing a minor hit 'You Don't Know What You've Got' in 1961. He was highly regarded from then on as a session guitarist, appearing on hits for Dusty Springfield and many others. He toured in Tom Jones' band, mastered the sitar for some French EP releases, and was friends with 'Little' Jimmy Page, the newcomer young session lad who began his career playing on 'Diamonds' by Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, then several hundred contemporary recordings by such as The Kinks and The Who.
Big Jim still plays today in country pubs in Sussex, and occasionally at The Stanley Arms in Fishersgate, where luminaries such as NMH have witnessed his versatile playing abilities. He also deputizes for Michel Koipres of Brighton and Hove Albion F.C., but has yet to appear in the full first team for a competitive league match.
