We were after him at one point, then his career nosedived, so there is a bit of schadenfreude going on for some....

You and me both, a player with no ambition, who obviously prefers to stay on the big bucks he 'earns' at Tottenham knowing that he is never likely to get a game for them, rather than move on and hope to make a career somewhere else.

Thank goodness he said no to us.
