Head for Thimble Mill Lane - plenty of typical pay on the day parking in industrial unit car parks and a 15 min walk

The dull part of the south coast
In our final game in the Championship we parked in one of the “sites” off Aston Hall Way and the wonderfully named Elecric Avenue. Loads of industrial business premises charging around a fiver plus to park. The Aston social club is close by if you need a landmark reference. About 10-15 minute walk to the ground.

Not going this season but have used "JustPark", it's brilliant there are a few close to the ground but outside of the major traffic issues

Car Parking

Mostly street parking (don't be surprised though if you are approached by kids wanting to 'mind your car'), although this is not as plentiful as it once was due to a local residents only parking scheme now in place in the streets around the Witton roundabout area. Street parking is also available in streets around Aston Railway Station (which you will pass if you continue along Lichfield Road towards the City Centre). Alternatively, free parking is available, but around 1.5 miles away (or a 30 minute walk) at the Star City leisure complex which is also well signposted, on leaving the M6. There is also the option of renting a private driveway near Villa Park via YourParkingSpace.co.uk.

Just a word of warning, Aston, like many of the suburbs of Birmingham is one of the most deprived and impoverished areas of the country. I would exercise caution in parking and stick to official or stewarded parking where possible.

"A traffic exclusion zone is in operation on match days any time from two hours before kick-off and then at least 30 minutes after the final whistle to allow fans to walk to and from the stadium safely.
During the road closures, Witton Lane and Trinity Road will be closed to all traffic. For full road closure details please visit Aston Villa’s club website."

Did something similar for that game and parked at a local mosque

Looked earlier in the week, nothing on there within a 30 min walk and very little even further out.

This was the space I used, this one is booked but a good area if anything else around?

Driveway on Upper Sutton Street, B6

Parked just outside exclusion zone last time - vague memory it took forever to get back onto A38 / M6 last time - train for me this time
