I don't know why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist about Brighton and Palace sharing trains, its happened before and it will happen again ?

Unless West Mids police advise think there is a SERIOUS chance there will be 6000 fans kicking off all over the place [being generous to Palace there by giving them 2000] there is no way it will get moved

I don't think that is the sole issue.

West Brom (and possibly Coventry) are also at home that day, potentially against Sunderland & Newcastle (to add to the mix). I would imagine that one tie would be shifted. I am assuming Walsall are AWAY on a league fixture that day.

I kind of see that, but I know Villa, WBA & Wolves have all played on the same day before.

I'd be suprised if it does get "moved" but what do I know :dunce:

I haven't the foggiest. Never really paid attention to fixtures and whether they get moved on police advice, other than the high profile ones (Leeds/Millwall/etc). Seems to be an awful lot of fan movement on one weekend to one city. We shall have to wait and see..!

Spurs/Chelsea/QPR/Millwall/West have all played at home recently on a sat

Slightly different as that doesn't factor in rival fans travelling on the same trains to different games.

I remember us coming us back from Wrexham a few years ago and Birmingham new street being packed with riot police because of the fan interchange there.

If nothing else, I'd envisage a complete alcohol ban on the trains going up and down.

Stoke vs Arsenal - Why?

Surely having all Premier league ties on Sky and ESPN followed by Match of the day means that there are plenty of similar games to this shown all the time.

The FA Cup is about the underdog / minnows trying to upset the odds and beat higher league teams. No wonder the magic of the FA Cup is dying is that is the sort of crap they choose to show.

Also, Leeds on TV two rounds in a row? hardly fair on everyone else.

Rnd 1 on FA.com website Vs Oldham
Rnd 2 Away to Kettering on ITV1, Replay showed on ITV4.
Rnd 3 Away to Man U on ITV1
Rnd 4 Away to Spurs on ITV1

That's a hell of a lot of revenue for Uncle Ken's back pocket.

Anyone might be mistaken in thinking that ITV wanted to help Leeds back to the Premier League by giving them as much extra cash as possible along the way. why they just don't sponser them directly i don't know, how about changing their FA Cup shows name to the Leeds United FA Cup adventure show?

Guess a closet Leeds fan working there is picking which matches to show.

I can understand the first two rounds as they got knocked out by a non league side last year and Oldham Leeds was prob the pick of the second round ties.

The Man Utd one I didnt understand as I didnt think there was a chance in hell of them winning.....

After that game the were always going to be on the bgox whoever they drew, im happy its spurs :D
