Thoughts..

1. Whoever it was in the match thread, who said they'd seen their goal on SSN and it was the result of 'dreadful goalkeeping' is a idiot. The only Albion player definitely culpable is Gardner.
2. Did Dunk handle the ball before shooting? The Hudds defenders thought so, and they might well have a case!
3. Lualua's yellow is beyond ridiculous. The ref should be embarrassed.
4. But not as much as the Hudds field player who comes up at the end and tells the 'fouled' player "well done". Great sportsmanship mate. Nice one.

1. Someone said that? Nobody will take any criticism of Stockdale seriously if he is criticised for that. The defending though...could they have let him have a clearer and more untracked run into the six yard box?
2. Can't see a handball, but that's probably my eyes. Great finish though.
3. This.
4. And this.

We can't appeal yellows, but if the ref isn't pulled up for that decision, then something has gone wrong with how refs are monitored. Why can't clubs appeal yellows? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I am a supporter of referees even though I have my hates and not so bad refs and we need more refs at grass roots level however I think the authorities need to admit ref do make mistakes and they could be overruled after the game without being held against the ref. Most times they do get it right but Kaz second yellow was pathetic. Now the player suffers the club suffer and the fans suffer!!

As the fifth Albion booking in the game, it earns the club an FA fine too!

Stockdale had a decent game. Some good punches clear, a couple of decent saves ( nothing spectacular) and he could have done nothing about the goal.

Shame they didn't show the disallowed goal. From behind the goal, I had absolutely no clue who was given offside. It just looked a good goal.

Kaz may have been hard done by for the second booking, but he got himself unnecessarily involved for the first one, when Dunk already on a booking started having a pop at the linesman for a dodgy throw in decision. Plenty of passion from both, they just need to channel it better.

We had a total of five yellow cards (two for Kaz) - Huddersfield had none.

Can the ref honestly say that second booking offence was worse than every foul made by the Huddersfield players throughout the game? Pathetic.

Only seen the goal on here but wouldnt put any blame on Stockdale more on the player, couldnt see who it was, stood at the side of the player shooting and not putting in a tackle or attempt a block.

Gary Gardner - Butterfield ran straight past him, and he jogged along without a care in the world.

SSN somehow had LuaLua's 'second yellow' down as for 'Serious Foul Play', which is just plain wrong on a multitude of levels.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Shit 2nd yellow for Kazenga, hardly touched the bloke!
Still think it's amazing, if we ever go up to a ref and say an opposition player should get sent off, we end up with the booking!
As an earlier poster said it would be great to get a ref who's fair for both sides!
