Horrible day to see them. Feel sorry for all the participants. Each year it seems to be monsoon conditions.
We used to go to Pease Pottage to watch.
The Blue Peter car went past so fast we barely recognised it.
It certainly bore no relation to the video footage shown the next day, at 5.05pm.

When we had the pub in Burgess Hill many of the customers used to go to London Rd and watch them go by usually standing out in the rain.
