Sorry if fixtures, but I haven't seen it mentioned.
I read a bit in the Times last night that Alan Wells wife (former Sussex/England cricketer) fell to her death at Beachy Head. Can't remember exactly when, but in last few days I would guess. Was seen by an older couple walking close to the cliff edge.
I was at school with both of them (Tideway, although they were in year above me), and she always seemed a very nice girl when I knew her in the 6th form.
RIP Melanie Wells (45).
They have 2 boys.
