Is it still misty down on the Brighton coast?

I popped down at lunchtime and it was very overcast but warm.

Up here in the Metropolis of Haywards Heath it is roasting.

In fact it's too hot!!

Don't feel sorry for us commuters. The new trains are air conditioned and are actually too cold!

The lass opposite me last night put her jumper on she was so cold (or perhaps it was that she could sense my eyes on her cleavage :p ).

When the air con packs in it's time to worry, though as there are no opening windows.

... and how about us born and bred Brightonians who have to travel to London to earn a decent wedge? ???

Marshy. I drink near Burgess Hill. The United Services Club HH. It's just around the corner from where I live. Presumably you get on at Wivelsfied/Burgess Hill for Albion games?

Benny I was thinking about a day in London but I thought ( as you've just confirmed) that it would be a nightmare.

Mr Popkins. Like your "Thought for the day!"

the heat plays havoc with my cycling abilities commuting from Shoreham to Brighton - I mean women in bikini's rollerblading around making me turn my head and not pay any attention whatsoever as to what I'm about to ride into :lolol:
Almost hit an elderly lady yesterday as the dopy cow was walking right in the middle of the cycle lane JUST as I was eyeing up some bird lying on Hove lawns :p

What was the dopy cow thinking off. you would have sued her of course!! Right was on your side.

May see you at a future game Marshy. There's a few of us who come down from HH for each game. Come to the NSC Christmas Bash. You will enjoy it!:drink: :drink:

they should be made to give up their seat for true brightonians.

Mr Popkins when I met you at the Nelson you seemed quite mild mannered!

Cockneys seem to get your gander up!!

They should be made to stand for Sussex people on that last train out of Brighton on Saturday Night!

It's way too hot in London today. I have to cycle 8 miles to work and I was overheating by the time I got in.

Still, going to Tooting Lido after work to cool off...can't wait.

Swimming that's a good idea Gwylan. I might just do that tonight.

I'm in our loft at the moment and the sweat is dripping off me.

(Didn't help that I got some Sun tan lotion in my eye!) :lolol: :shootself :dunce:
