Is there a reasonable DIY/Trade question or problem that NSC cannot solve?

Here is my first attempt.

We have a P2 combination toilet and sink in downstairs loo, installed by previous owners. The valve is faulty and leaks water into the pan.

Q. How can I know exactly what type of valve is needed and source the right one that will fit and solve the issue?

Post a photo of inside the cistern if possible

I fitted one of these toilets a couple of weeks back, inside the cistern / below the basin was a bit of a challenge.

All DIY/Trade questions are difficult to me! . . . being cack handed you understand.
You'd certainly be cack handed if you washed in the wrong bit of a combined toilet and sink.

Notorious for the flush valve to let by on these - Any soap/debris from hand washing goes past flush valve seal/washer and also sticks to it making a gap. Not sure how you will get any pics from inside cistern, but even make/model will help.

A: Google.

You’re welcome. 🙂

You were right! NSC came through again.
