When they talk above international class, he has it. We are so lucky to have snapped him up. Although Lamptey is exciting and a potential match winner, Veltman is one of the safest pairs of feet in the squad and adds to those who can be classed as “utility” players who can be excellent in a number of positions.

Agreed, but he was also contradicting my assertion that Lamptey would be picked ahead of him if both were fit.
