I wonder whether strikers are adjusting to life with VAR and no benefit of the doubt and thus there is less contentious line drawing and such, I wouldn’t even know how to look up the stats but I think so far this season there has been noticeably fewer goals from balls in behind/one on ones than in previous seasons.
