Is VAR still based at Stockley Park for our home Euro games or some outpost in deepest Europe ?
Am assuming it will be a team of European officials aligned to the referee and his assistants?

Be interesting to see the difference to how they work with VAR compared to our incompetent Premier League officials

You have to admire the Swiss at cornering so many post-national gigs. Why so many organisations grant it to them is beyond me but, given that, it's probably got something to do with something else that Switzerland was one of the earliest adopters of.

Can't I blame that on the rules (and I quite emphatically don't understand the handball penalty rules) rather than VAR?

It might be because any organisation founded in the early 1900's was a bit short of stable European countries to operate from, over the first half of the century.

It’s just the match official that is incompetent, he’d fit in well over here.

they were two absolute stonewall penalties.... Anyone could have made that decsion quickly.
