Interesting.Wonder if the delay in the official announcement is because they are looking to do a loan at the same time? Pleased to announce that he has signed and will now spend the rest of the season at x club
The slow speed of this transfer was predicted very early by trusted club journos such as Naylor/Owen. So nothing has changed from our original plan. They’ve not yet told us why it’s so slow.
I’m guessing that plan involves the player not coming to Brighton for medicals, contract signing, house hunting etc. That seems complex. Surely we’ll want our medical folk to examine him with top end medical equipment (heart scanning etc). Where will we do this in Argentina etc?
But the fact that Naylor has mentioned a loan makes it seem a lot more likely. I am surprised as injuries have forced RDZ into a back 3 without fullbacks available. I hope you are not right as this guy looks so exciting but I fear your are.
Perhaps someone who is more of a defender is being brought in by the club next?
