I must admit when I first heard Linda, sorry Heather Mills, was buying the old Big Fish cafe and announced she was going to turn it into a vegan restaurant I did laugh. I really could not see how it would last more than 5 minutes. What the f**k would anyone want with that sort of stuff down there?

Anyways, not liking Ms Mills I was hating the idea from the off. The previous place was alright and she forced a hard bargain to buy it. What was there to like?

But, I've been, it looks good, was very busy, staff were nice and above all the food was great and it was cheap. BTW whilst not a veggie I am partial to a bean burger. The cola tasted bloody nice as well.

My only complaint is the naff and corporate name/logo.

Anyone else been?

P.S. I still think she is a head mental though.

My girlfriends son went there yesterday and said its shit. Funnily enough he said the coke was the worst thing he's ever tasted and it's apparently £1.55 a can!!

Assume that's the same as the stuff they sell in infinity foods? Tastes a bit like, er... rotten beetroot or something.

Strange, I thought the cola was pretty good (it was actually made from the cola nut as well)

My eccentric ex-Mother-in-law was violently ill after eating Linda McCartney's Veggie Sausages, she said if she "ever saw that cow I'll punch her in the mush"

I thought it was quite a result at the time !

To be fair, I don't think her target audience is the usual Maccy Dees, KFC loving footie fan, I bet its proper good to be honest..

Cant wait to get there my self !!!

my sister went yesterday she is a vegetarian not a vegan, her and her little boy had some cake and she said it was the single most disgusting thing she has ever tasted, however she said the place looked good and was packed.
