[Technology] USB devices- will 3.0 plugs fit into 1.0 sockets?

dont want to waste money gettting new tech, if it wont fit into old!

They fit into USB 2.0 ports, where the hell have you got usb 1.0 ports? USB 2.0 took over in 2000 and USB 3.0 has been around since 2008.

USB C is the one that is a different shape.
