There's been a betting thread on this but no official thread (I hope)

Starts 3pm Thursday Sky Sports 2

f***ing Montgomery commentating

If anyones is looking for tips though, Bubba watson and Steve Sricker are the men. Both in the top 10 rankings, Bubba's won twice this year, Steve won last week and both have never won a major but come runner up many times (one will break that duck this week).be sure to thank me.

What are your predictions?

What do you think the winning score will be?

Here's a video to get you in the mood.

(Bubba's in dungarees)

Agree with Bubba. I also Think Fowler will finish in top 10 and Poulter will be up there too.

The reason i don't like Monty is because he refused me an autograph at Wentworth when i was 15 and told me to piss off. He had finnished in round and was standing around

He can be a bit "surly" granted. No excuse for not signing autographs for a sportsman (take note all you Andy Murray critics, he never refuses to sign them).

Just seen Monty ranting on about how it is the worst draw he has ever come across after the uspga have grouped the worlds top 3 together as well as having all swedish, italian, and spanish players with each other!! Will be interesting to see if this does effect the chances of these players!

I think a European will win.

Luke Donald is clearly a favourite given his current form, but these events tend to see a somewhat 'unknow' player raise their game and take the title.

Bubba is smashing the front 9, not sure about his army costume though :)

From the Guardian's live coverage:

6.30pm: Watson had a putt to go -4 recently, but suddenly he's back to -1 after another bogey, this time at 8.

D'oh!

Come on Hunter Mahan!

Birdies 4 in a row then bogey'd 3 in a row to finnish PAR

But that it a quality first round for Bubba.

He's one of those golfers who will hit 6 under in 9 holes after doing nothing the whole week.

If he's still in it on the last round i'll fancy him. Was 50/1 for now 18/1
