What names have I called people here? And where have I been aggressive?
You and all the others haven’t name called or been aggressive because no one posted a covid alternative view you were requesting. You know there’s no official evidence hence why you’re requesting it and you know the hostility it would cause for whoever posts something like that.

But when someone does post something alternative to the mainstream narrative , just read the responses Swansman was getting on here!

If there was a radio signal from that constellation, it would be a bit weird if they suddenly stopped wouldn't it? It's a bit of a long way away, making communication a real ballache.
No one thinks that it was an attempt to communicate with us, it was a signal captured that looks artificial that’s all. They couldn’t and still can’t explain it!

I am no conspiracy theorist, but with recent admissions by various American authorities and the military they seem to be preparing the general public for admission that there are unidentified intelligent objects visiting earth. That will spark all sorts of repercussions, including admission they cannot defend earth if these objects were hostile, and blow religion out of the water, a real change in our position in the universe as being rather insignificant.
As an opening gambit, nothing screams "I am a conspiracy theorist" more than opening with "I am no conspiracy theorist". :alien:

i expect transmitting it used up all of their allowance from their network provider. Bloody O2 being tight gits as are 3 perhaps. It’s bad enough getting a signal around and about the Amex let alone from deep space. :giggle:

I wasn't suggesting they were trying to communicate with us, but we have tried to communicate with them. On earth, we have constant radio waves everywhere, and if another life form picked them up, they'd be able to read the signals the next day too. So it seems odd if they made a signal 35 years ago, and haven't done again since.

Oh right, so you're accusing me of being an abuser for some abuse you're expecting me to dish out, but I haven't. That's pretty f***ed up.

Have I asked someone for evidence (I'm not saying I haven't, just not sure)?

But when someone does post something alternative to the mainstream narrative , just read the responses Swansman was getting on here!
You can't claim that Swanny doesn't provoke a reaction from people. He sent me abuse via pm telling me what an idiot I am.

And many people find a lot of conspiracy theories daft (and I'm sure you'd agree that some are), so take the piss when people push them. Like 'we've never been to the moon', that sort of nonsense. That doesn't mean we're all sheep who believe everything officials tell us.

Oo, how many of those points you mentioned do I get?

Please don't take offence, I say what I think, nothing more or less

I see no connection between what I posted and your reply/question.

How's Rosa?
Until 2006, you’d have been called a conspiracy theorists for claiming Holodomor was true.

Rosa? Wasn’t that from back in 2011? Jesus Christ! We split up in 2016. Are you still deluding yourself that we were the same person? Conspiracies aye!

You should read up in reactive abuse too. Might help your moderating responsibility?

Seems to be a developing trend on NSC these days that thread develop into arguments and then go a bit playground.

Life is all about accepting [like it or not] that you will sometimes see things [and believe in] differently to others.

Just think how boring life would be if we ALL agreed with each other ALL of the time.

Now play nicely .... accept others opinions, challenge by all means, but lets not degenerate in to playground tactics.

I think the constellation they looked at was some 1800 light years away, so the signal we got 35 years ago was 1800 years old. They could have sent it I suppose constantly for a 1000 years, but got hit the next day by a giant extinction event asteroid?

I concede that is the most likely explanation

We should have never released those weather balloons on the Lake Michigan shore.
