As some of you know I lost my job last year and have been signed off and Mum is dying.Now to top it off I have found out my wife is seeing someone else and she wants me to move out we have 3 kids and I am very close to them all.She wants me to give up the house,etc.I have done nothing wrong Why is life so shit

I asked her to she said no.Have contacted the same solicitor I am using for my case for my unfair sacking.Just at my ends wits

Um, in that case the only advice I can give, having been there, done that, is ensure you get equal custody of the kids, ensure you get as nice a flat as you can afford near a park for the kids, never ever turn down the chance to have them holidays or weekends, and take things a day at a time. You'll build a really strong relationship with your kids that way (and they won't be kids forever remember, one day they'll be adults who will remember the realtionship you built with them when they were little). It'll feel like shit, and that feeling might last a few years, but you'll come out of it the other side much the better for it. Oh, and don't be scared to count on your longtime friends. cos relationships come and relationships go, but friends go on LONGER.

Hope this doesn't sound too mystical but the best allie you have in this situation is the truth. As you go through all the shitty procedures you are going to have to face over the coming months if you can remember what the core truth is in all of it, i.e you love your kids and you haven't bought this on yourself and then act in a way that sees the truth served ie making damn sure your kids know who and where you are and carry yourself with the dignity that gives you-you will come out OK.

Hope that makes some kind of sense?
