right, for the past FORTNIGHT, i have been trying to get hold of my driving instructor, ever since she never turned up to collect me for a lesson...i lost my mobile you see and i dunno if she left a message or w/e. but the fact is, i just cant seem to get hold of her!!

but, during this time, ive been wanting to book a test this week (now next week) because the next ones avaiable are august. i want to do it as soon as possible, because even though im likely to fail, i have some experience in a test already, and i dont want to wait a month - just to fail, rather get it done as soon as possible. if i pass, a bonus.

anyhow, is there anyone in seaford/eastbourne area out there? this previous instructor was from seaford, and im asking nsc because ive noticed one or two people are cheaper than some of the people i found in the friday-ad

please notice i am from herstmonceux area

Sorry. I've never heard of someone being dumped by the Driving Instructor before.

Anyway, if you want a test ASAP, get in touch with the local testing office (don't know which is your nearest) and ask them for a cancellation. You don't need the driving instructor there, just a recommend. Explain that you have taken the test before, and see if they can help you out. If you want some pre-test lessons, you may have to bite the bullet and pay over the odds - but then again, you will probably only have to pay a couple of quid extra.

Good luck.

Well I can see why you failed straight away, you let a bloody woman teach you how to drive. Stop using two hands to lift the handbrake, don't do your make-up in the mirror whilst driving and I'm sure you'll do fine

I can't see why you'd want to do a test certain you're going to fail it? It'll be -worse- the next time around, not better.

I passed mine first time after never having seen the inside of a dual control car - I used a field, a beach, and the local shopping centre for basic car control, and a summer of having to drive thousands of miles, mostly at night, to learn how to actually drive rather than hurtle a tonne of metal towards the nearest lamp post.

She would have told you if she was going on holiday, lets face it Adrie, you got DUMPED!

I passed FIRST time aswell!
I told you, I have lost my phone, so the likelihood is, she did send me a message, but I can't rfind out what it is.

ANOTHER thing I clarified in my first post. Dumbass.

I had a friend who parted with his driving instructor after driving the car through a brick wall, writing it off. The instructor informed him that they would not be continuing with his lessons once he got a new car.
