If there is any justice in this world, both should be banged up for life and life should mean life I.e. no parole after x years for good behaviour under any circumstances. I hope life on the inside proves to be as uncomfortable as possible. If only the death penalty could be handed down in such clear cut cases as this but no doubt many of the liberals on here would disagree.

They stated in court they wanted the police to shoot and kill them - so basically they want to actually be killed - why give them what they want with the death penalty ?
They will certainly get the most severe sentence and prison will be a living nightmare for them. Even though they will have to be kept from the other inmates - the wardens wont take to kindly to them.

1 prison - and since the vast majority of prisoners in the UK arent Muslim, and even if they are Muslim - they arent going to take too kindly to what they did in Woolwich.

I've never had bacon but make sure I have it every morning whether at home or in London. First thing I say is Bacon before eggs, chips or anything else.

Adebowale wouldnt be eligible for release until he is at least 67 - he wont be leaving prison at all.
To be brutally honest, neither of them will survive prison.
Adebolajo got a whole-life sentence as he organised it all - still significantly more than a normal murder, but this is far from normal - its borderline terrorism.
It was always clear that the judge was waiting for the judgement on whether whole life tariffs could be handed down before sentencing them. I'm slightly surprised that Adelowale didn't get one, but still, 45 years minimum is enough time for him to reflect on things. Suspect that they'll have to keep them in solitary for a few years at least as they'd most likely come to harm if they allowed them to mix with other cat A cons.

Are our prisons like Travel Lodges? I've been to a Travel Lodge but the only prisons I have been to were in San Francisco and Cuba.
