Finished 1-1, no sign of Adingra tonight.

Home to Standard Liège next week so should be a chance to see Alzate in action, hopefully Adingra too as Union have a couple of suspensions coming up from bookings received tonight.
Any idea why Adingra only on the bench? - slight knock? - or not as good as we're hoping?

He went off injured against Antwerp a few games ago and been used sparingly since. Scott Parker's Brugge team were pretty physical last night so may have have a consideration, along with Loïc Lapoussin having stepped up his game since his driving indiscretion. Union have a busy schedule coming up so sure we will see Adingra get plenty more minutes soon.

Was Mitoma always a regular starter at USG? I wouldn't read too much in to it, on the whole his loan spell seems to have been successful.

Mitoma only started 11 of the 34 league games for USG last last season. He was on the bench for 11 (coming on in 10). He missed 6 through injury in the middle of the season and missed the first 6 games through a combination of not being at the club/only just joined so still getting up to speed with them etc.

Of the 6 play off games he started 5 and came of the bench in the other one.

So I wouldn't read too much into Adingra's involvement and what it might mean for us, although he's already started one more regular season game than Mitoma did last season with about 9 games to go. He's also scored more than Mitoma did in the regular season (7-5) and has tied him with 4 assists.

Genk(top) lost at home to Antwerp(3rd) today so RUSG sit bang in the middle of them - 6 off top, 6 ahead of 3rd - same number of games played
Genk away to Mechelen Friday night and then Adingra v Alzate on Saturday evening...only 9 games to go before the crazy play-off to decide the champions.

After Genk's 2-2 at Mechelen last night an ideal chance for Union to close the gap, but Alzate didn't read the script...just scored to put Standard Liege 2-1 up...

Finished 4-2 to Standard. Less time wasting than Fulham, 8 minutes signalled and 10 extra played...go figure EPL...

Adingra starts tonight away to Westerlo. No free coverage on Mola tonight, available on Eleven Sports for a few quid.

I'm heading to Brussels this weekend to see RUSG in action. Has anyone on here been to a game over there? Any recommendations for our trip/places to drink and mingle with fans?
