With all the freezing weather can someone confirm we have undersoil heating? Sure we do have but can't remember for sure. Going to get its first test now!

from memory the undersoil heating WAS actually an additional inclusion after construction had started. It was originally supposed to be a future add-on but TB decided to include it in the phase one build.

You're right about it being an addition but I believe that originally it wasn't even considered a future add on.

The series of mild winters that we'd experienced may have lulled the planners into a false sense of security but the severe frosts of 2 years ago concentrated their minds!

These days under-soil heating is only part of the equation.

It doesn't matter if the pitch is playable. These days games are called off if the areas around the stadium are deemed to be slightly more slippery and dangerous than the no-win no-fee law firms waiting in the wings for someone to fall over.

It also enabled the team to train today. The Uni pitches were rock hard allegedly.

A few tons of grit should do the trick.

But if it snows then game is likely to be called off bcos of surrounding area, apparently heating won't melt much snow either
