I loved Warren Buffett's recent comment about the real opportunities available to those buying shares in this downturn: "I feel like a hungry mosquito in a nudist camp" or something like that. So much to choose from. . .

Buffett is always good for a quote. In my office we have a poster with the classic Buffett, "Be fearful when you see others being greedy, and greedy when you see others being fearful." He is certainly following his own words at the moment.

Was reading some industry material this morning, some very gloomy quotes in there, this being my favourite.

"This year is going to be worse than 2008. Now it's all shit. At least previously, it was shit with a theme. They hedged shit against other shit. Now, if super senior tightens they don't know if they're happy or sad. And they're bleeding money."
