Uncle S is an NSC LEGEND. I cannot imagine this board without him. Wildly unpredictable, outlandish and volatile, abrasive and intrusive, yet at the same time thoughful and often insightful.

This board is about debate and sometimes I could be accused of playing the devil's advocate but I am upset that McGhee went as he would have got us up come the end of the season but ah well never mind. I agree with 99% of DK's action and I love him very much but I did disagree with this one.

I am sure Deano will not be too concerned with an internet geek like me posting a lively thread for discussion.

US was fine when he was a breath of fresh air. However, he now seems to rehash the same tired old posts, and shows a massive lack of flexibility when it comes to selections, preferring to stick only with those that he seems to favour, rather than trying new ideas. He also seems to have a distinct preference for "non-ethnic", which is concerning. His inability to accept criticism, retreating behind a veil of insults and blame deflection is not the best way of moving forwards. If he is still a mid-table poster by Christmas, then we should perhaps look at moving him on and bringing in someone younger and fresher.
