And he only moved from Scotland so sometimes it does take a while. It's very frustrating though.

They only work until 11.30 on a Friday , any faxes or documents received between 11.31 and 11.59 get dealt with after they have had breakfast on Monday morning.

You really would have thought, that someone would drive upto the Fa and sort this out asap. Can't believe we signed a player for £2m + and he has already maybe missed three games. What a joke...On the plus side, he must have been in full training so when it is sorted out, we won't have none of this on the bench crap. Or you would have thought not.

Yes, as long as it IS sorted out this might be a blessing in disguise. We don't really need him for tomorrow, as it's a 'bonus' game, and he's training with the lads, ready to be unleashed on the league campaign.

Funny how people see things in different ways. Because it is a "bonus" game as you say. I would have thought it would be the ideal game for him to start in. Competitive game time, with the lads, no league points at stake and a full hopefully 90 mins under his belt. With the added bonus that Arsenal, in all probability would not have done there homework on him.

Oh God yeah, if clearance comes through play the 'new' formation with Ulloa as the central striker... always good to try out a new strategy before the league games start again.
As has been mentioned above, and on another thread yesterday, this is all to do with third party ownership. The FA are extra-careful around these types of transfers following the Tevez affair. Clearance is not given until proof is received from all parties that the relevant payments have been paid and the player is 'owned' by the club.
