Likewise, I’m hoping they are made legal as i have one myself, but with provision for compulsory training, and registration.
Hoping for insurance as well that can be included with existing motorcycle / car policy’s.
Others to have personal liability cover.

Why do you feel that scooters should have all the above, yet cyclists who can go a lot faster (assuming scooters will be limited to 15.5 mph) and e-bike riders are exempt from the conditions you are suggesting?
Simply put, why do scooters need all that, yet the other users, don't?

Well, you haven't mentioned them, to be fair.

Just seems a bit of an overkill, to expect scooter riders to have far more regulations than those who have none whatsoever - wouldn't you agree?
