Im still not sure which queen it referred to. Was it the old one or the queen consort
Lizzie, for sure. Lizzie, whatever your opinion of her, or the RF in general, is 'THE Queen', in the minds of people the world over.

The dull part of the south coast
The fourth is laughable.
Is it though? I think I know which banner this is referring to. On the basis of being provocative and offensive can you imagine how it must feel if opposition fans displayed banners mocking the Munich tragedy to Man Utd fans, or Hillsborough to Liverpool fans. Closer to home, anyone deciding to insult our fans by showing a banner referring to the Shoreham air crash.

Having said that nothing comes close in abomination than the Ipswich banner being unfurled regarding our financial well being a few seasons ago. :lolol:

Assuming it's the one about The Queen, yes it's laughable. If there was a different one I haven't seen it.

Whether or not you were offended by it because it referred to the Queen, which I guess was the intention, are you then saying it’s fine in the stadium to have banners about blow jobs etc? What is then acceptable and what is not? Shall we have them at the Amex too, maybe just in front of the family enclosure?

I‘m not sure what is laughable about that being offensive, not to me it isn’t but i can see it clearly would be to some. Aren‘t they just drawing a line in the sand about the type of thing they want seen on banners in their tournaments?

In a game where we were singing (among other songs) "Tear gassed in Athens, battered in Marseille, wanked off in Amsterdam, we're going all the way", they were constantly singing "Brighton Vaffanculo" and the ref was audibly being called a c**t by half our fans? Ok then.

It doesn't sound like it's that one:

"Brighton have asked UEFA to investigate after a homophobic sign was allegedly held towards their supporters by a fan in the Roma crowd during Thursday's Europa League tie"

You can’t really stop a chant, but you can remove a banner. Try putting one up at the Amex and see how long it stays there!

it reminds me of the 83 replay. In the first game there was a banner ‘Kevin Moran, a cut above the rest’. A couple of my friends had a banner ‘Norman Whiteside, a cu*t above the rest’. Quite funny I thought, but neither of them holding up the banner got to see any of the game!

Fair enough. Didn't see it in the ground, haven't seen it on social media.

Roma fans had obviously done a bit of research into us in regards to their insults. Palace badges, LGBT stickers, the c*ck sucking gestures ect... So I'm glad they didn't find out about Shoreham because they definitely would have used it and unlike the other stuff it would have actually worked

Seems odd that he is the only person who seems to have seen it.
