Yes, he missed the UEFA U-19 European Championships (held on his native Northern Ireland soil) in July with a hamstring injury.

Crazy how quickly line-ups can change in academy football. We played West Ham at home in PL2 only 5 months ago (March 15 2024). Of the starting XI that night, only ONE player started again this evening (Jamie Mullins). One of the subs who came on then (Caylan Vickers) started this evening's game:-
