Bizzare course, looks exceptionally unforgiving for any even slightly miss hit shots. The greens are not so much 'greens' more browns.

What a weird course. Looks like they're playing in an old quarry. Like a 70s Dr. Who location.

Justin Rose has started very well, he has a great temperament which is important on such a testing course.

I know it's the same for all the players, but that course looks absolutely shit.

Tiger Woods is shot to pieces

He certainly is, but is doesn't stop him getting the main golf story on the BBC website this morning, which is a farce.

The course is "interesting" to say the least. It seems to be a bad attempt to design a links course, but combine it with a bit of crazy golf as well. I am surprised there are no windmills on the greens, which look diseased. And apparently, there are 5 holes that spectators cannot get to! Oh well, at least it isn't the usual American target golf.

Sky as well, are leading on this, to the point of stupidity. Hardly a mention for those players who have 'tamed' the course.

The top stories on the beeb this morning is Woods misses the cut, followed by Jason Day collapses with Vertigo. Apparently Jordan Speith is leading, but it took a while to find that out!
