I thought it was mildly interesting to see how 2 points for a win would affect the table:
We'd be 3 points clear of third (1 win, 1 draw) and 8 points clear of seventh (4 wins)
As it is we are 4 points clear of third (1 win, 1 draw) and 12 points clear of seventh (4 wins)
So it has barely made a difference then. Worth remembering the next time someone pipes up with the "I'd rather win and lose than draw twice" cliche, as if teams actually have that choice to make.
