What do people think aboiut footballers being able to post on Twitter - should clubs try and ban them?!

Just been reading tweets from Kaz, Matt Sparrow and Casper - they all seem to be moaning about the fact that they've got to report back for training in five days time! I wonder what Gus would have to say about that - he must surely read them...

If you have just had a month off work you would moan about going back to work again.

I think you are trying to find a debate from nothing.

As far as I'm aware. You can post on any public site as long as you do not bring your company into disrepute.

Whether anyone can be dictated to on this subject, I'm not sure?

Can't see Spadge saying that, the only thing he refers to is "6 days to go until we hit that track again! #readysteadygo" and CMS keeps saying "#notlongnow"

Think it was in reply to Kaz's comment, which was along the lines of 'Madness!' or something. I may have misread it tho...

I shouldn't imagine anyone looks forward to having to run their balls off for the first week..

Half the things said on twitter are a joke or sarcastic... Twitter is boring and crap.

Maybe just me but Twitter seems to have disappeared off the face of the interweb thingy so "problem solved"

Exactly I don't think the first week or so of pre-season is a time any footballer looks forward to.

This, its pretty much all running and getting your fitness back.. And looking a some pictures of Noone it looks like he has a lot of work to do

Depends who you follow I think - some tweeters are a nightmare but it's worth it when you come across a gem, like when Hoskins revealed how he felt during Bomo speculation and during loan move etc. Reveals alot about what the players are really like too. For example Benno comes over as being a top bloke as does CMS, Matty Sparrow seems like a right c*** and it is impossible to understand anything that Kaz ever says so who knows about him!
