It was a good performance from us first half, they had a bit more to them in the second, but lets not get carried away, it wasn't the most memorable from a footballing stand point for the most part. There may be a moment or two to remember (hammond's header right at Speroni's head, Kuszczak and Orlandi teaming for a goal mouth clearance) but generally it was just regular football.

Any added sentimentally will come from the brighton/palace rivalry that most other neutral people just don't get.

Completely agree with this. No controversy. No Pens. Not many fouls. Good reffing decisions (apart from Kuszczak's bizarre booking). Rather a non-event for any neutrals.
