To be honest I'd never heard of it before I came to this land...Zef has had to educate me in many things...(although some I think he's taking the piss on)

Kedgeree is the food of the gods
hello Titanic...

the chefs at Lancing College used to do a particularly tasty Nasi Goreng.... (inevitably known by some as Nasty Gunge - but I was always pleased to see it on the bill of fare...)

That recipe is rather inadequate! No boiled eggs for a start.. and then spring onions ?? curry powder ?? no mention of FINNAN haddock ??

Deary me, what a sad excuse for a Kedgeree. :nono:

Throughout my years of study and the many exams I have had to sit, I have sworn by kedgeree as my pre-exam meal of choice. Brain food!

Haven't had kedgeree for a while though, might have to make some this weekend now!

YUM!

kedgeree is a classic, should be served with a decent curry sauce, and it should have hard boiled eggs in it.When i was head chef at ricardos staff restaurant, that was one of the dishes that had them queueing out the door

Way out west
I cooked it last Friday for my tea, but used salmon as per the recipe, have to say it was pretty damn tasty...another one to add to the list of things to cook if I am ever trying to impress (the others are lamb tagine and mushroom risotto).
