TV has gone off 3 times in the last couple of hours blank screen and no sound so I switch it off leave it for 30 secs then switch it back on and it is ok. Is this likely to be due to the weather or the TV on its way out. Or even a technical issue with the set up of the TV needing adjusting.

No need I can order one on line, as I did with the money transfer

Fantastic reply! :lolol:

Mine does something similar BG, we had a leak from upstairs which dripped into our TV and occasionally it cuts off. Works overall but a bit patchy. Could someone in your home accidentally spilt water over it?

Are you sitting on the television remote and inadvertently switching it of? That would be my first port of call.

Wife went and pushed all leads to make sure they were firmly in and it came back on so far so good may have been a scart lead not quite connecting which is strange because it hasn't been moved and young grandchildren haven't been near the back of it.

If its due to the weather I'd get the roof looked at first unless of course your tv is outside. Technology passing you by Brian

Wondered if it was due to the reception and interference but that used to happen in the 50s and 60s and I haven't moved on that quickly. I still look for the vertical hold:D Not up with he idea of digital tv.

Scart leads are French, and the spawn of the devil. Hdmi and USB is the way forward.
