do they? if that were the case, we'd have stopped. i think most people quite like the longer summer evenings, or are you suggesting we permenantly leave GMT?

Is there any material advantage to keeping it going. I know it has been suggested that accidents drop in lighter mornings.

we move forward in the summer to give us a longer evening. accident statistics in the morning would move to the evening another time of year.

I thought, when it was discussed, that we'd move to BST permanently. Whether that would then be renamed to GMT, I don't know. I find it a pain changing, it takess my cats ages to get used to it.
