Evening NSC, sorry to interrupt the dissection of today's defeat, but having come up completely blank on google, thought I'd try the pearls of wisdom on here.

Looking at a few days in Istanbul in April, and whilst its not necessary or the point of the trip, would be awesome to get a match in whilst out there. Going on a Sunday so as not to miss the Albion game the previous day, and I notice that Fenerbahce are due to be at home that saturday - although from soccerway I also notice that loads of games get moved to Sundays & Mondays. SO, was wondering if anyone has been to a game out there and what their experiences were, or if anyone knows:

a) When games that are moved get announced?
b) How easy tickets are to procure, and the best method of doing so?

Cheers!

Just gonna give this a nice bounce in time for Sunday afternoon, as I KNOW there are a lot of football travellers/Turkey-based people on here!

HERE I AM!!!!

Generally games don't get moved around as the big three's games are all sorted out with TV in mind when the fixtures are organised. In Turkey every BIG THREE game is at a different time so they wholek country can see them.

I have no idea how to get tickets in adavnce from abraod but there are very few all-ticket matches in Turkey, if any. I'll check this and get back to you.

Give me your exact dates and I'll check them up.

What is a game like? Well the atmosphere is awesome but the quality of football can range from league two to champions league semi-final depending on which teams get sent out on the day (they ALL tinker here!..... most foriegners in the big three play only about half the league games) but its worth going just for the atmosphere... will never forget my first epxerience when the home team fans threw a coffin with the fener flag burning onto the pitch when Fener (away team) came out.
