In the context of what has happened recently, anything is possible:

Salerno, Italy - Salernitana Calcio 1919 striker Federico Turienzo has been told that he can leave the club on loan after finding his first-team opportunities limited following the club's promotion to Italy's Serie B. The well-travelled striker is being linked with a return to England where he enjoyed a frustrating spell with Third Division side Brighton and Hove Albion.

Salernitana President and Founder Antonio Lombardi commented "Federico approached myself and the manager to clarify where he stood in our minds. We told him that at the moment he does not figure in the club's first team plans but that is not a final decision. We have given him permission to seek a temporary move elsewhere with England or Spain his preferred destination."

English Second Division outfit Southampton have been linked with a move for the striker whilst a return to former club Brighton has not been ruled out.

Now that would blow Micky's return out of the water.

Congratulations Robin: You have drawn Shrewsbury as your "second" team for this season. You must support them almost as much as Brighton until May 2009
