Let's be honest, if someone offered us 0-0 now then we all could save £30 and take the point gladly

Real Churchillian stuff there, very rousing!

Didn't we lose twice at home before beating West Ham last year? Twill happen again, so it will.

No Yorkie hate that attitude we should be going there expecting a result

Yes, sorry. That was my 'see if I care' mood.
I'm feeling more cheerful now. I like this from the Argus today from McGhee

Albion manager Mark McGhee insisted today he has no fears about hitting rock-bottom ahead of the visit to arch-rivals Crystal Palace.

The Seagulls go to Selhurst Park tomorrow night at the foot of the Championship 13 games into the season following Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Cardiff.

McGhee said: "Bottom of the table at this stage really doesn't hold any great fear for us. We had 30 Saturday nights last season when we went home really disappointed and at the end of the season we had a huge celebration.

"We've got to retain belief and keep believing in the way we are playing and what we are trying to do. I think at the moment we've still got that, so we will persevere."

McGhee has already warned his players there will be no hiding place against Palace after another disappointing home display.

"I said in the dressing room there are games home and away where supporters will forgive you for certain types of performances but away to Crystal Palace for us is not a game where you will be forgiven.

"The fans will expect us to be absolutely 100 per cent committed. I don't care if you are a flair player or a lightweight player, they expect you to be really up for it.

"The result will almost be secondary to that. We still believe we can go anywhere and get a result if we play as well as we can but we have got to go there and compete.

"We know how desperately we need the points but these are games which I enjoy. I've got no fear of going to Crystal Palace, I've been there before and won."

are you the fan previously known as SEAGULLEATER?

If not...anyone know where he is? I know he was banned at Selhurst for running on the pitch last game!

Not me mate but I think I know who you are talking about. I think he posts on Holmesdale Online as well.

I remember someone running on the pitch but didn't know it was him.

Matches being played in London on Tuesday night.

Football League Championship

Palace v Brighton
Millwall v Sheff. Utd.
QPR v Plymouth

LDV Trophy (Sth)

Barnet v Bristol C.
Brentford v Oxford
L.Orient v Yeovil

plus

Woking v N.Forest

Should be an interesting evening/night for the Met boys, what with the Bladesmen going to Millwall & Argyle at QPR. Maybe a few from Bristol/Oxford/Yeovil + Forest about, but who knows as there only LDV matches.
