Nothing showing on the offical site, we said we would annonce on Monday the date so maybe they are going to play the game two days prior with a weakend team to avoid a fixture pile up. I hope so I am away working most of September and have to confirm dates.

It will depend on whether City are still in the Uefa Cup as to if it's 17th or 24th Sept

From the Argus site:

Albion will have to wait until Thursday August 28 to confirm the date of their big Carling Cup clash at home to Manchester City.

That is when the Premier League club play the second leg of their UEFA Cup tie away to Danish club FC Midtjylland.

If City, 1-0 down from the first leg, go out then they will visit Withdean on Tuesday September 16.

If they go through then the Seagulls will entertain Mark Hughes' side on Wednesday September 24.

Albion will announce interim details of ticket arrangements for the match later today.

Meanwhile, the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie away to Northampton will be played on Tuesday September 2.

It is true that the club need to be sorting the ticketing out before we know the date. Otherwise there could be less than 3 weeks between the date being confirmed and the match taking place

Because I'm away on holiday that week:rant:

So I want City to lose next week so the game is played on the 16th:ascarf:

I am working away in Yorkshire on the 16th so am praying the reverse, so one of us will be happy.

I sort of have a feeling City may only draw and lose on away goals. Hope its on the TV so will see it whatever.
