We are all passoniate about our clubs and back them fully, but sit back on the fence on this one, if you were in coppells shoes being offered more money the opportunity to take Reading into the prem for the first time i think you would all do it.
Their is no doubt about it we have a great set up, good young squad, most of you have been there, it is a great stadium you can not deny that .....or be it i agree we should be getting better crowds, that i can not answer.
You will get your chance your stadium in time.

Of course managers are going to want to better thier careers, i say fair play to Coppell we are just going to get on winning the title without you if you don't mind.
Brighton and Hove Albion are strong enough to ride the wave of losing a manager and our leader Mr Dick Knight will make the best choice to replace him, of that i am sure.

Just as long as that ex-Palace, pea headed, high waistline wearing bastard doesn't rape our team of its best players i couldn't give a f*** about him leaving anymore.

 Steve, i hope your career now goes down the toilet.

I don't get it, somebody has faith in you as a manager after a host of clubs haven't cared for you and as soon as a slightly better offer comes along you jump ship. Very nice.

Tosser.

I think Coppell is making a big mistake. Reading is a nothing club and always will be, when we get Falmer your pathetic little carrott crunching club will have their players and mangers poached and we wont have the biggest hypocritical **** in football as our chairman. God I'm praying you get relegated.

Royal, bottom half of Div 1 is more like relegation looming than any hope of playing in the prem.. No way are Reading going up.

No doubt when Madjeski realises that there is no way Reading can compete with the big boys in the 1st division let alone the Premier league he'll be off in search of another club, he ain't a fan just a business man looking for a cheap way of making money by buying a cheap club and trying to make the prem, just like Hamman at Wimbledon. Look what he did to them and where they are now. People like him don't give a shit about the fans.

Carrot-crunching  That's a new one! Strange considering all the hunting that goes on in Sussex too! Bit contradictory to say the least!

Who is this "Royal" anyway? When did he suddenly turn up and start bossing around?

The sentence i've been looking for all weekend. In a nutshell.
He's obviously mad.
Fair enough if DK doesn't think the stadium will be built for 10 yrs(which could be the reason) but it's not as if Rea*ing will be the last managerial vacancy.

I cannot understand why he doesn't win us the Championship then go to a Prem club next year.A better one than shitty little Reading

So, if he goes he's quite obviously devoid of any moral fibre which means he has no respect from an ever growing number of fans from an ever growing number of clubs. He can now add BHAFC to his list:tosser: regardless of his decision...he has basically given us the finger by even talking to Reddung.

BHAFC is bigger than him, better than him (and Reddung). We have had to put up with an annual managerial change but still find ourselves on top of the division we are temporary residents of. Shit-even Ian Duncan Smith could be a success with us :smokin:

Coppell-f*** off you quitter
Reddung-f*** off you big club wannabe
Madejski-you are one hypocritical **** and you can f*** off too.

BHAFC-let's do what we always do: Confound everybody by over achieving in our school playing field of a stadium and let's win this division to show Coppell the quitter what he left: Twat!

Murders or was it just shootings in Elm Park? didn't they use to play football there?

About as aggravating as Portsmouth, Reading is (or was: I don't got there any more), full of Micks and there was an Army presence (maybe from Aldershot? Navy in Portsmouth) when I went there.

Still, you don't have to live in a place to manage or play for a football team. Just be a commuter.

And beat Reading in the FA Cup...

Though twatface-Madejski would probably only give us 500 tickets "to allow the thousands of Royals fans a chance to watch"

there's no-one there, there's no-one there...

The shootings were in Elm Park Road, which is in the west end of town, near but isn't quite next to the football ground of yore. The Army is the reason that its my hometown (army kid, you see) based in Arborfield about 5 miles away which is the home of REME. The squaddies are indeed w:censored:kers, but discounting my relatives of course ;)

The shootings were to do with the gang warfare that keeps escalating year-on-year in the rougher areas. Sad to say, everyone is black, but we can't say anything about that in truth. Its just the area and the gun culture that exists in the west end. There are equally bad events with white kids as well, like about 10 of them trying to drown a 14 year old girl in the River Thames.

But its a nice place really... and its not Croydon, at least!

What is this about DK not thinking the stadium will be built in ten years? This would be gross incompetence over the Planning Application if he thinks this is the case.

I expect he means four years more is the schedule. I do not think much of how the whole thing was handled, but I expect we will have to progress to its conclusion, one way or another, because it seems DK and MP think they have done the best job that is possible, which I don't.

(However, when faced with an arrogant, inflexible, incompetent, obnoxious bunch of people like the South Downs Conservation Board, there are special circumstances, which is a valid excuse, just about. How can any thing get done in Sussex with that mob flexing their muscles: they cannot even manage the downland properly.)

Hey Brian.

That's cheered me right up. Coppell or no Coppell, we're gonna kick some ass this year.

As they say, bring it on.
