Trouble with the EDL at Brenford vs Orient

Dandyman

By whose account(s) may I ask? By the way the so called Unite against Fascism thugs that break up lawful meetings, attack people who disagree with them as well as the police and are in any way a front for the Socialist Workers Party are in my opinion utter scum.

If you are a non-racist non-fascist ordinary Englishman then the EDL are scum. If on the other hand you are a persistent apologist for racists and fascist then you might well regard them as a splendid bunch of chaps.

Here's one of their Welsh chums enjoying a bit of harmless fun.

There is something rather ironic about a mob of far left thugs shouting "Nazi scum off our streets" at people waving Israeli flags.

Much the same degree of irony as Nick Griffin who denounced the Holocaust as a hoax in a court of law now claiming to support Israel, unless of course it's a way of ensuring "Juden Raus" by other means.

I used to be a 100% committed anti-fascist. I still consider myself left wing, but I have a real problem with the way that many of my former 'comrades' have got in to bed with Islamic extremism/fascism. I also have a real problem with Islam itself, but then I have a problem with all religion. Check out a few of Pat Condells videos on You Tube, cos they say exactly what I feel these days. The SWP who are behind UAF, basically see Islamic youth as recruits for their revolution, now that they realise the British working class have rejected their pathetic ideas and leadership

I'm not sure about the EDL at all. I've seen videos of them where their slogan is "black and white unite", I've seen pictures of their rallies when there are clearly black and white blokes together, with Israeli and even gay rights flags. Don't sound very much like right wing extremists to me.

It's a confusing time.......

no its snobbishness about football lads and 'less educated' British people that gets most people on heres backs up rather than any genuine concern about far right politics. Its just a convenient smokescreen for their snobbery. Most people with half a clue know this.

Of course the dickheads will ruin any sensible debate, and it will atract loads of wankers. But so far the 'wankers' have not blown up any tube trains. Nor will they 'get anything done' except further extend police powers over demonstrations or gatherings.

Funny day to pick on people protesting about militant islam eh!

How this about this "wanker" who did murder people long before a handful of religous zealots got in on the act:

David Copeland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Or perhaps some more recent examples:

Neo Nazi Neil Lewington jailed for racist bomb terror plot - mirror.co.uk

Or if you'd like a bit of kiddie fiddling mixed in with your terrorism:

The David Copeland who is now a muslim?

Like I say the far right are evil dickheads the same as radical islamists. Of course dangerous and sometimes evil people will be attracted to a movement with an element of nationalism. Thats why any debate on the make up of our society is still f***ing born because of these pricks.

By the way, the last person to go before the courts for sieg heiling was a UAF supporter masquerading as EDL. A commmon practiceI believe.

I'd actually agree that fascists and religous extremists belong in the same camp. Where I might part company is the idea that these sort of groups are ever going a real forum for sober debate or reflection on a changing world.

What has this violent anti-social imbecile got to do with the English Defence League?

It was a response to comment about blowing up tube trains (something that happened on my work door step btw).

You say changing world as if there is an almost satisfying inevitability to what happens to British society without its people having any choice in the matter. I would say avoiding sleepwalking into Balkanisation, craven attitudes to extremism imported from abroad, self satisfaction in peoples superior morality and cowardice when it comes to the problems of multiculturalism and globalisation, with no real concern for the losers out in your own population, are avoidable in my eyes. If we can keep the seig heilers and the Dave Spart spastics out the picture.

Or perhaps and we give up, become some massive free port for any idiot, and accept the society that is coming my way, which it seems is more your line. Interesting how the lefties go all free market and no such thing as society when it comes to this debate.

I'm sure you'll have me through the Peoples Court before long Comrade.

What is the charge again; Ah yes: The accused denounced violent disorder by militants attacking people and policemen going about their lawful duty.

Comrades he is therefore a "Nartzee" and a "Racist" . Comrade Dandyman of the Brighton Internationale has spoken!

Off to the gulag I go.

oh boo hoo i worked in camperdown street E1 at the time and had people sitting round me who had been all the Aldgate train. Traumatised to f*** but in the office witha cup of tea. I myself walked past it shortly after it had gone off. Anyone else want to play tragedy one up manship or shall we stick to debate?

I remember the IRA blowing some of our fellow Englishmen to bits in 1974 on my then doorstep in London. Their apologists now present Channel 4 documentaries about Christ and take afternoon tea in number 10. But then some wankers thought of these terrorists as freedom fighters.

Here's Gerry Adams at the funeral of an IRA man in obligatory black beret.
