Sorry chaps very wrong , these guys are from brighton and have been all their lives , i could name at least 2 of them in the pics you are showing and more from what i saw out side witherspoons in george street and sorry to rain on your parade but they are also Brighton fans and have been since the late 70,s . i know what i am talking about cause i know them but really dont want to name them ....after all freedom of speech and all that.

2...oh god, please. You've proven us entirely wrong. Every time the Brighton division comes out to play, the Pompey division is with them. I was in attendance of an UAF meeting last April (Forgive me, I was a ultra-lefty who was illinformed and naive) when the EDL attacked the meeting, the Pompey division was there. And there was more of them there than there was the Brighton lot, but also. The Brighton division's 'flash demos' have only mustered a maximum of 6 fellas.

Now, I'm not keen on the EDL, they have a right to protest, but they should be opposed and I don't agree with violent tactics as that can then be mirrored and alas, what happened saturday happens more and no one can be bothered with that.

And with all due respect, I couldn't give a shit if they were Brighton fans, an individual's politics should normally be left alone, conservative, liberal etc. But when they're on the fringes of neo-fascism, then I have a big problem with such.

and despite 2 years of denying their links to the far right fascists, again fascist salutes (Whilst holding a St George flag, I kid you not)witnessed in Newcastle today when 100 of these EDL 'patriots' attacked some anti jubilee protest.. The EDL casuals came to Brighton for the weekend in some bid to save face following their ridiculous previous demos in Brighton, and the build up to the weekend on their boards showed excitement from them at the impending violence they were planning to bring to the town, under the guise of 'flash demos'. They got all 'military' and decided to move in small groups so not to attract attention, no colours....well, they didnt really attract much attention, a few scuffles and chanting some homophobic, racist, and islamaphobic insults but as it turned out they mostly just got drunk again.

My favourite lot of these bellends is "UK Uncut". They protest about rich people and corporations not paying enough tax.

The real beauty of this though is that I would say only 0.1% of those protesting are actually net Tax contributors (ie put more into the system then they take out).

How do you know that exactly? I would be interested in how you managed to calculate that - or are you just speculating? I hope not, because that would make you the 'bellend'.

Everytime there is a left wing issue in Brighton, the EDL closet supporters make themselves known on NSC ;-) But, as any good EDL knuckledragger will say, when asked if they are EDL supporters, they will deny it.

Have you got a link to these boards you keep mentioning ? Am pretty sure there are laws against conspiracy to commit violence

im sure as well, but yeah, i can give you some links..... they do get reported, and the police do take actions...There have been several arrestgs in the last couple of months due to the idiots putting their plans on FB.
