The only other trouble I experienced today was when some HOOLIE from 'uddersfield came up to me in the Sportsman and started arguing with me for no other reason than the fact that I was born in Leeds.

Has to be said that that particular Albion fan has a serious attitude problem. Recall him once snarling and randomly challenging H Blockers who took the piss out of his brolley & shorts one Summer's day. Or it might have been November. The only crime of the Leeds fan was, er, to be a Leeds fan in the wrong end. The Leeds fan didn't seem to be giving it the big one in any shape or form. Plus the handbags almost resulted in a couple of disabled fans on crutches being knocked over. Ain't big & it ain't clever.

I heard a rumour that the unfortunate older guy was subsequently taken ill and had to go to hospital - an indirect(?) result of away fans being in with the home supporters.
I was surprised to hear the comments of the Stadium Safety Officer (or should that be Spin Doctor?) on Harty's programme tonight. He explained that some Leeds fans were removed from their NS seats following complaints and relocated elsewhere in the NS. They clearly incited the Albion fans around them when Leeds scored by standing, cheering, etc. Whilst these actions should not cause any trouble it is a fact of life that they do, particularly in the heated atmosphere of a football match, hence the need for segregation and crowd control. In a perfect world we should all be allowed to stand together, in fact there would be no need for stewards, police, and even turnstiles because we would all be so honest that we would only enter the stadium if we had purchased a ticket.
Perhaps the Leeds fans in the NS were relocated rather than thrown out because they were guests of sponsors.
The world would be a bit more perfect without Mr D'Urso as a referee.

Last season we had Sunderland, Leeds, West Ham, and Millwall in the 2 seat next to us.
The Sunderland, Leeds and West Ham Fans kept quiet so as far we were concerend they wern't a problem! Well they weren't!
The Millwall couple were mumbling a bit so my mate politley pointed out that if they didn't like it, they could move! They behaved!
QPR fans scored last season! Jumped up and called us all gays! They had to go! And they did!
I know I've had to sit in home ends in the past! (I'm sure most of us have) I didn't particularly enjoy it but I observed the unwritten code of not winding up the home support!
If the Leeds fan was causing aggro today fair enough! But if he was keeping himself to himself, it was not on to attack him!

In fairness you can get slung out of the North Stand for cheering an Albion goal.
Something to do with trying to create an atmosphere....not allowed as it may interupt the gentle conversations between STH.

There were people on the Leeds messageboard who said they had no problem getting tickets sent to Yorkshire adresses.

Lets be sensible here, whatever any club does to try and prevent home tickets going to away supporters, its never really going to stop 100% is it, i mean, i live about 15 miles from cardiff (im brighton through and through) but i bet if i wanted home tickets for just about any game, i could get them.
