Agreed but the great strength of Trott's that he appeared to lose was his concentration, he was getting in but not going on to make big scores.

He's batted for over a day here, I think it's pretty big in the context of his recovery.

I think Trott played a massive part in England getting to number 1 in the world . He was one of most consistent players. But I can't help but feel if his problems weren't stress, which is what he and others have said, then I think he let us down in Australia. Having a decent knock for the Lions isn't enough in my opinion to justify bombing out anyone in the current line up.
