Nothing against him …but he’s moved on and so have we ..u can only play 11 and that 11 play for the team ..not sure he did that consistently…personally I no longer miss him
We missed the "turned up for the big games" version. A Wembley semi would qualify. We only missed the 'rosy specs' version though.
Same. I’d be happy if he was playing for us, but he isn’t. We’ve moved on, so has he, got a decent fee all things considered. No hard feelings towards Leandro.Nothing against him …but he’s moved on and so have we ..u can only play 11 and that 11 play for the team ..not sure he did that consistently…personally I no longer miss him
And that's going to be a fully fired up and motivated Trossard having played second fiddle to those two (and an 18 year old up front) for however long? There are quite a lot of variables at play with managing ~25 football-hungry individuals, and the manner of his exit suggests he's towards the "higher maintenance" end of that particular spectrum.Bonkers that anyone thinks we couldn't do with Trossard in our squad right now. Sure we didn't miss him greatly with the rise of Mitoma and the up turn in Sollys form but what a hell of a replacement he would be when one of those needed a rest or playing as a 9 while Ferguson is out.
Did he forget who he was playing for.Trossard has been anonymous recently for me but he made a big contribution today, played a huge part in the 2nd goal
Who's he?Arsenal and their fans hailed Trossard as a goalscoring machine. Yes he's quite good, but do you think he would stand a chance of cutting the mustard in today's Albion squad?
Despite this, he looked absolutely broken at the end. He went to Arsenal for a medal. It’s quite poetic seeing his face post match as he realised that his trophy cabinet will be empty this season.Trossard has been anonymous recently for me but he made a big contribution today, played a huge part in the 2nd goal
One of the main reasons I didn’t want them winning it! Absolute karma. He was great for us and could have left in a much much better way - shame as he’s a great player.Despite this, he looked absolutely broken at the end. He went to Arsenal for a medal. Sulking his way out of the Amex to the Emirates was not a good look was it!One of the main reasons I didn’t want them winning it! Absolute karma. He was great for us and could have left in a much much better way - shame as he’s a great player.
Might be because we just played his team off the park?I don't get the hate. On his day, he was brilliant for Brighton and the club made decent money from his move to Arsenal.
No, he won't win the PL this season. But he'll be playing CL football, he's earning better money and is part of a team that will be genuinely challenging for the title. There was no guarantee he would be doing any of them with Brighton.
Yes, he could've behaved a bit better before he left, but he's gone and everyone has moved on...
Spot on. People need to rewatch his performance in that Chelsea home game to remember him properly. Yes, sulking to engineer a move isn't a good look, but none of us know what really happened behind closed doors to get to that point. And gloating at him now isn't a good look either. He was a good servant to this club.I don't get the hate. On his day, he was brilliant for Brighton and the club made decent money from his move to Arsenal.
