Ooooh this is a toughy.. Has to be Star Wars if we are talking trilogys.. although in my opinion Alien and Aliens are by far superior films.

Oooh, this is a toughie.
Alien is the best sci-fi horror EVER made. And yes, I'm going to say it (you can't stop me). FACT.
Aliens is sheer genius for all-out non-stop action and has one of the best surprise endings of all time.
Alien 3 however is a bit piss-poor and badly lets down its predecessors.

Therefore, Mr Lucas just about gets my vote. Its STAR WARS innit. No-one can vote against it really.
