I fully understand why some don't like T or T but is it really worthy of such vitriol? Yes it has become a bit much but kids love it and it's fun. The only thing I don't like is that as soon as the plastic pumpkin tat is off the shelves............IT'S CHRISTMAS!!

As for festivities getting out of control, a hundred years ago Christmas was a tangerine in a sock, church and a penny in the pudding as a treat. Bed by 9, all over with. Look at it now. It's how things happen.

Hopefully I'll be working this Christmas, no interest in it this year. I am not partaking, not buying gifts, not going to parties, not buying special food just not interested, I need a year off it. Christmas Eve in the pub as is tradition and that's it for me.
