This is going to sound so far fetched but here goes, mate of mine works at the 205/205 cab office and they have a player called Ricketts waiting for a cab to go to the training ground, I Will probably get abuse for this but I can promise you its definitely not made up.

Any idea who it could be?

Everywhere
I think over the two games on tuesday and wednesday we will see a few trialists most teams having played games over the weekend had a few. The fact there are so many out of contract players will mean they will be popping up all over the place.

If this is true, are we looking at him as a striker, or as his original position in midfield? (I don't expect anyone on here to actually know the answer, by the way).

Never forget a Harty classic after Michael Ricketts played against the Albion (i cant remember who he was playing for),Harty said 'he played like he had Ricketts'

Ricketts and Dickinson upfront, Tunnicliffes long throw. Virgo and Elphicks long balls. I am thinking NORWAY!!!!

Maybe Slade is thinking of having a flexible squad that allows us to adapt our style of play to suit the opposition's weaknesses... just a thought.
